Helen has almost 20 years of PR experience working both in-house and agency-side. Past clients have varied from financial institutions and infrastructure companies to shoes and hotel chains.

Following a Masters Degree in Public Relations and a first ‘proper’ job as PR officer at the national Royal Armouries Museum, Helen’s career had an interesting start, organising slots on Blue Peter and regular involvement with jousting contests.

She then followed a route specialising in community relations and technical B2B communications working on major infrastructure projects across the country and writing for highly specialised trade magazines and is skilled in transforming complex information into media-ready news stories.

At Approach she manages clients in the chemical, manufacturing and security sectors, oversees awards entries and is heavily involved in Approach’s CSR initiatives.

Helen is also responsible for office wellbeing and has a keen interest in mental health in the workplace.
