Graduating from Leeds Beckett University with a degree in business and management, Betty interned one day a week before joining us full time in 2018. During her final year of studies, she was involved with campaigns across b2b and b2c clients.
Betty creates compelling and engaging copy for the media and is determined to gage what makes clients tick. Being sell-in savvy, she’s a tenacious media relations expert securing on average eight news stories for every release she issues, including several front page splashes for her work on Ilkley Carnival.
Combining her passion for social media with an aptitude for alliteration, Betty manages many social media accounts ensuring maximum engagement and impressions. Having worked across social accounts for clients in retail, manufacturing and not-for-profit organisations, she adapts her quirky tone of voice to fit all audiences.
With a flair for creativity, Betty has been involved with videos for United Carpets & Beds – from brainstorming concepts to drafting storyboards to actually featuring in the #UCHacks videos as Goldilocks!
