Today we’re celebrating being shortlisted for three PR industry awards alongside a prestigious business accolade for our managing director Suzanne Watson.
We’re in the running for Outstanding Small PR Consultancy of the Year, Regional Campaign of the Year and for Community Relations of the Year in the Chartered Institute of Public Relations annual Yorkshire and Lincolnshire PRide awards (it’s all very exciting!) The shortlist commends the team’s effective campaigns undertaken on behalf of clients Airedale Chemical, Kirkgate Shopping and our business acumen as a thriving, growing agency.
Suzanne has also been announced as a regional finalist in the Forward Ladies National Women In Business Awards to be held in September. The event celebrates the wider contribution and impact women make to communities and the UK economy and involves four regional finals and a national final in November.
Suzanne, who was named Ilkley Business Awards 2017 ‘Personality of the Year’ and was this month elected as vice president of Bradford Chamber of Commerce, said: “This has been the most incredible year for the Approach team and having all our hard work recognised by the best in the PR industry and our business peers is the ultimate accolade.
“This is our 16th year in business and is one that has already seen two new appointments, four new business wins, two award wins, eight awards shortlistings and a developing regional business role for myself.”
