Leading retailer United Carpets & Beds wanted a creative, digitally-focused agency to overhaul its social media profiles. The brief? To increase engagement, grow the audience and instil credibility, trust and a helpful tone of voice online.

We were keen to amplify the brand’s personality so we launched a series of life hack videos with post party cleaning tips, advice on carpet stain removal, selecting the perfect flooring when you have pets and a special appearance from Goldilocks on picking the perfect mattress, all under the campaign #UCHacks.

Our following and engagement has exceeded the key performance indicators set by the client and the profiles continue to go from strength to strength – with lots more to come.

Key results

While Facebook has been highlighted by United Carpets & Beds as the key focus for engagement and growth, results are strong across all platforms:

  • Cross-channel follower increase by almost 10,000 people since January 2017
  • Facebook fans up 78% in 12 months
  • 17% on Twitter
  • 735% on Pinterest
  • Almost 600,000 video views of #UCHacks on Facebook since February 2017
